Boothbay is in Mid-Coast Maine, north of Wiscasset and south of Damariscotta. To reach Mid-Coast Maine, find your way to Route One.

From Route One:

The Scenic Route: From Rte One Heading North towards Damariscotta: Turn RIGHT onto Maine Rte 27 South. After 6.5 miles, turn RIGHT onto Adams Pond Road (just after the White Anchor Motel and before the Cottage Connections sign) and an immediate RIGHT onto Dover Road for almost 2 miles.
Turn LEFT onto Dover Cross Road for 7/10 of a mile and RIGHT onto Back River Road. (The sign reads Back River Extension.)

802 will be the first building on your LEFT. The Bold Colorful Life Inn entrance is on the right as you enter the main driveway. The Bold Colorful Life Gallery is in the barn, to your left as you face the river.

The Simple Route: Follow Rte 27 South, angling right to the stop sign at the Monument in the center of Boothbay, next to Town Hall. (Do not follow Rte 27 as it bears to the left.)

Cross the intersection to Back River Road, north. Drive 3.6 miles and you will see 802 Back River Rd. on your left, just after you pass the sign for Dover Cross Road on your right.

From Boothbay Harbor Area:

Follow Rte 27 North to the stop sign at the Monument in the center of Boothbay, next to Town Hall. (Do not follow Rte 27 as it bears to the right.)
